TEC is currently accepting rider applications for their 2011 Winter Session. Those interested in signing up to participate in the program should turn in their rider registration forms as soon as possible to the TEC office; current physical is required at registration. The Winter Session begins the week of February 14 and will run for 7 weeks.




TEC is an all volunteer 501c3 nonprofit organization providing year around therapeutic riding to those with special needs in Cass, Berrien and Van Buren counties. TEC is located at Stockbridge Equestrian Center, 615 N. M- 140, Watervliet, Michigan.
Riders and Volunteers can access applications and forms by visiting the TEC website at www.tecfarm.org., emailing info@tecfarm.org or by calling TEC at 269-429-0671.

Winter Program Volunteer Training Sessions are now open for new program volunteers. These sessions are being held on:
February 1, 6p.m. @TEC Barn – Volunteer Training Session 1, Organizational Overview (Optional for Lesson Volunteers)
February 3, 6p.m. @ TEC Barn – Volunteer Training Session 2, Side Walking, Horse Leading & Lesson Volunteering
February 5, 10a.m. @TEC Barn – Volunteer Training Session 1, Organizational Overview (Optional for Lesson Volunteers)

February 9, 6p.m. @ TEC Barn – Volunteer Training Session 2, Side Walking, Horse Leading & Lesson Volunteering

Horseback riding is a good activity that can be done in the summer. You do not have to own a horse to go riding there are many stables out there that will rent one to you.
